Guanacaste National Park

The Guanacaste National Park is north of Belmopan. Though it is Belize’s smallest national park, it is named after the up to 100-foot-tall guanacaste trees that inhabit it. These giant trees are home to a variety of birds, like the red-lored parrot, black-headed trogon, and the white-breasted wood wren.
